NGO Capacity-building Specialist, Civil Society Division
Based in Erbil, Iraq, Bridget is an NGO Capacity-building Specialist for the Media and Civil Society for Transparent Governance program, which aims to strengthen the watchdog capacity of Iraqi NGOs.
She previously managed programs in Somalia and Ethiopia focusing on media development, conflict mitigation, gender, youth and government/civil society relations.
Prior to joining IREX, Bridget worked at human rights and development NGOs in Gambia and Rwanda, and as a consultant for the United Nations in Senegal.
She holds a JD from UCLA, a MALD from the Fletcher School at Tufts University and an AB from Dartmouth College.
