Kosovo Undergraduate Exchange Program
Applications are now available for institutions interested in being considered as a host for the 2012-2013 Kosovo Undergraduate Exchange Program. The university host application, program addendum, and instructions can be downloaded below. Please complete both the general application and the Kosovo UGRAD Addendum to apply for the Kosovo UGRAD Program. Completed applications are due by 5 p.m. EST on Friday, March 30, 2012, and may be e-mailed (kosovoUGRAD@irex.org), faxed (202-628-8189), or mailed to the IREX address at the bottom of this page. Please send the application materials to the Attention of Kosovo UGRAD Program.

The Kosovo UGRAD Program provides the following:
• J-1 visa support
• Round-trip travel from fellow’s home city to host institution in the United States
• Accident and sickness coverage
• Tuition and mandatory university fees
• Room and board (housing and meals)
• A small incidentals allowance for fellows
• A limited allowance for books
• Alumni networking opportunities
Eligibility
Host institutions will be selected based on the following:
• their demonstrated ability to provide a well-rounded program experience (with strong Global Undergraduate Exchange Program in Eurasia & Central Asia academic and cultural components)
• the qualifications of their proposed campus coordinator and their ability to provide personalized care
• the institution’s experience and ability to work with students from the targeted regions
• the institution’s ability to engage fellows in the local community
• the proposed costshare and per student cost.
Host institutions will be responsible for providing each fellow with: academic support, cultural and community support, and logistical support. Responsibilities are explained in more detail in the complete Host Application Instructions.
